I am Richard Burton, a watercolour artist based at The Richard Burton Art Centre on the stunning Yorkshire coast, near the dramatic Bempton Cliffs. My work is inspired by the natural beauty around me, and I love to use the power of colour to create atmosphere in my paintings.

Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature with this original watercolor, capturing the split-second drama of a Gannet as it emerges from the ocean, triumphant with its catch. The masterful use of watercolor brings to life the energy of the sea, the elegance of the bird, and the thrill of the hunt.
